Hello, My Name is Tara.

I have been committed to the Aged Care and Disability sector for over 14 years. I started my career in Business and though this had taught me great skills my passion has always been supporting people. Aged care became my focus until I became a mother of which I then decided to get into the disability field as Autism holds a dear place in my heart. 

I have completed various qualifications and training which includes Aged Care, Disability, Community Sector Management, HACC and various trainings in Family and Domestic Violence, I believe working within person centered approaches and best practice supports framework.

I have many years of work and personal experiences with complex needs and requirements. My roles have included HACC Worker, Residential Support Worker, Support Worker, Team Leader, Family Violence Project Officer, Service Coordinator and Manager. 

Give me a challenge and I will adapt with versatility, believing that not one size fits all. I am a strong advocate as I believe every person is unique and that supports should be provided holistically. I am always keen to learn and adapt to new situations and experiences.
